Ever since I was a little girl, baking cookies was something I looked forward to. I found the hobby to be relaxing, and quite delicious!

Naturally, the hobby faded away as adult responsibilities kicked in, but as “luck” would have it, an unexpected world-wide pandemic ended up becoming my silver lining. If there is anything that those who know me can attest to, it’s that sitting around, cooped up, and lounging are not tasks that come easily for me. A month into the pandemic and I found myself knee-deep in flour, sugar and icing colors, as I watched hours and hours of cookie decorating videos shared by other Cookiers (cookie decorating artists). The attention to detail, creative aspects, continuous hands-on activity, and beautiful, intricate cookie designs flooded my mind and I figured , “Hey! I can do that too!” There began my cookie decorating journey.
